The SC Planning and Logistics Senior Specialist ensures that client orders are taken in, processed and carried out with precision to make sure the client receives their products on time.
About the Role
Major accountabilities:
- Create Supply Plans at site level which incorporate Production plan and Logistic plan & ensure that the production plans are accurately reflected in planning systems.
- Manage shipments ensuring that product is shipped on time and under IATA and ADR rules.
- Ensure direct communication and coordination with other departments.
- Represent the point of contact for follow-up on time delivery dates & escalating changes related to supply.
- Own and manage the planning parameters in planning system.
- Actively supports the local Supply and operation process.
- Responsible for organizing and follow up of logistic flows of final products to customer (freight out).
- Management of international orders and their inclusion in ERP systems.
- Management deviations, complaints and reverse logistics.Master Data -Set up and perform complex local And global master data set up and establish process, guidelines, business matrix and SLA time lines in in GxP environment in adherence to Novartis compliance.
- Be Subject Matter Expert in the assigned area of work.
- Support data collection and reporting of KPIs.
- Responsible that all logistic processes are proceed in a timely, high quality, efficient and effective manner and in full compliance with all laws and supply chain management policies and procedures.
- Identify and drive continuous improvement projects.
- Control and follow-up of supplier’s service level indicators.
- Lead action plans to achieve supplier delivery performance targets and drive for continuous improvement.
- Reporting of technical complaints / adverse events / special case scenarios related to Novartis products within 24 hours of receipt
- Define and decide on priorities for physical deliveries in collaboration with other functions.
- Act as SPOC for escalation issues.
- Influencing and connecting relevant stakeholders to speed up (system) issue resolution.
- Management of the preservation of documentation related to logistics.
Key performance indicators:
- Timely planning of drivers and transport companies to ensure on time delivery to the customers.
- Timely planning reactions to the unexpected issues.
- Ensuring compliance to ADR and IATA standards.
